Great news after a long winter the cats have finally been woken up, a rake of 60lb cats have been caught with the largest at 68lb on the 14th April and a number of 20lb carp. So lets hope this is the beginning of a good season, the lakes produced cats to 72lb last year and carp to 38lb+ lets hope we can improve on that this season with the late start.

Dispite the rapid change of weather april had been quite a productive month with some very impressive halls of fish, check out gallery, Dave Roberts and friends who have halled a number of good carp including some very good 20's on the weekend of 17th April. No fewer than 16 different 20lb carp were caught and cats to 64lb all in the main lake. As usual the small ponds and match lake are fishing excellent.
